ABOUT ME

I am a lifelong teacher and musician with over 30 years in education and over 35 years of experience teaching private music lessons. I teach private lessons out of my home studio and also offer virtual lessons. In addition to teaching, I have been blessed to use my musical experience and education to serve as a Worship Leader, church musician, and Youth Leader for many years in churches throughout Louisiana and Tennessee. I hold a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Music, as well as a Master's degree and Doctorate in Theology. I have been married for 32 years and have four wonderful grown children and one granddaughter.

While I have many goals and aspirations, my goal regarding my music studio is to provide students with a quality music education in which they develop a love and appreciation for the gift of music. Through private personalized instruction, they will gain the necessary skills to create music on their own and enjoy it throughout their lives. Whether or not my students choose to pursue music as a profession, I hope they will continue to enjoy making music, grow in their confidence, and desire to share their love of music with others. Above all, my hope is that they use their gift and talent to honor God. After all, music is truly one of God's greatest gifts!
